To use Home Banking you need to obtain your "ALIAS NAME " and "SECURITY CODE". Please contact your Credit Union Branch. You will be required to fill out and sign this form: (Internet and Telephone Banking Agreement)

Home Banking is FREE of charge.

HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN DO:

- check account balances
- check your statements
- check history of your accounts
- pay your loans
- pay bills for hydro, gas, phone, cable TV, taxes, credit cards etc.
- make RRSP deposits
- transfer funds
- check interest rates on loans, mortgages and investments.

Home Banking is performed through a secure connection on the internet and is accessible through any online connection anywhere. 

Home Banking Security

You have a responsibility to ensure your own security.

  Keep your account information and password secret.
  Do not leave your account information or password in an open area where a passer-by might see it.
  Never leave your computer screen unattended while using Home Banking.
  Always exit Home Banking by clicking "LOG OUT" if you are going to step away from your computer.
  Do not send confidential account information (account number, password, etc.) via e-mail.
  Do not use passwords that incorporate your name, telephone number, address or birth date or those of any close friend or relative.
  Change your Access Code regularly and vary both the text and length each time. If you change your Access Code monthly, don't reuse the same code for at least one year.
  Do not use a password you use for anything else.
  Do not use any part of your ATM card number as your Access Code.
  Use a quality anti-virus program as often as possible.
  Close your Web browser after a banking session

or clear your browser's cache.

How do I clear my browser's cache?

If you share a computer and Internet connection with someone, you should be aware of a potential security risk. The other person could view your confidential financial information by hitting the Back button on your Web browser after you have used it to do your banking. You can keep your private information secure by closing your Web browser after your banking session or by clearing your browser's cache. Refer to your browser's help section for instructions on how to do this.

Is Internet banking secure?

To ensure a safe and secure Internet session, only visit reputable sites. If you visit any questionable Web site before our Home Banking, we recommend you close your browser and restart it before proceeding to Credit Union Home Banking.

Encryption scrambles all information between your PC and our computers and guarantees one of the highest levels of security, privacy and confidentiality. Your banking information and transactions are kept secure by using one of the best commercial-use encryption technologies available - 128-bit encryption.

How to find out what security level my browser has?

If you want to find out what security level your browser has, simply look in your browser's 'Help' menu and select 'About. The dialog box that appears will provide information on your browser's level of security.
